Wordless StoriesBetween Europe and the Mediterranean

The project Wordless Stories aims to be a challenge addressed to school pupils to imagine in their own language the title and the subject of a book. The objectives of this initiative are mainly focused on fostering the mutual knowledge between European young people of various nationalities and on motivating them to think about European construction-oriented projects.

 Raid Latécoère:

This air raid will pursue the airlines inaugurated by the pioneers of aviation (Latécoère, Mermoz, Saint-Exupér), but also the Aéropostale line which links France to Africa. Raid Latécoère project supports the access to school of African children through collecting funds for supplying school books and materials, but also first necessity products and for building schools and workshops. Through European Book Days project, French pupils will be able to send their African friends letters about their schools, cities, but also about their own vision of Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa. Wordless Stories will be included in this project.

Coup de Cœur:

Since 2010, European Book Days has launched Coup de Cœur by means of which the partners of each edition can bring to foreground the most important books of the year dealing with European themes. These books will be decorated with the Coup de coeur banderoles.
